EBI3 (Human) Recombinant Protein

Name :
EBI3 (Human) Recombinant Protein

Biological Activity :
Human EBI3 recombinant protein expressed in Escherichia coli.

Tag :
Product Reconstitution: Sterile 10 mM HCl at 0.1 mg/mLCentrifuge vial before opening. Suspend the product by gently pipetting the above recommended solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX. Allow several minutes for complete reconstitution. For prolonged storage, dilute to working aliquots in a 0.1% BSA solution, store at -80°C and avoid repeat freeze thaws. Upon reconstitution, a small amount of visible precipitate can be expected. A 10% overfill has been added to the total material vialed to compensate for this loss.

Gene Name :
EBI3

Gene Alias :
IL27B

Gene Description :
Epstein-Barr virus induced 3

Gene Summary :
This gene was identified by its induced expression in B lymphocytes in response Epstein-Barr virus infection. It encodes a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the hematopoietin receptor family, and heterodimerizes with a 28 kDa protein to form interleukin 27 (IL-27). IL-27 regulates T cell and inflammatory responses, in part by activating the Jak/STAT pathway of CD4+ T cells. [provided by RefSeq

Other Designations :
Epstein-Barr virus induced gene 3|cytokine receptor|interleukin-27 subunit beta
